With your support, the LPFA will make a push to restore the worst sections of the Condor Trail in Ventura County, including the Piedra Blanca Trail, Bucksnort Trail, Reyes Peak Trail and Sespe River Trail. The LPFA Trail Crew and volunteers will work to repair and restore access to as many of the overgrown, washed out and downed tree-covered sections of the trail as we can in 2026 and 2027.
THANK YOU for supporting this effort.
The Condor Trail begins at the Pothole Trailhead near Lake Piru and follows the Pothole Trail, Agua Blanca Trail, Bucksnort Trail, Alder Creek Trail, Sespe River Trail, Piedra Blanca Trail, Reyes Peak Trail and Boulder Canyon Trail on its journey through the heart of the Sespe Wilderness and the Ventura County backcountry.
It doesn't get much worse than climbing over downed tree after downed tree with a full pack. There's at least a dozen on the Gene Marshall-Piedra Blanca Trail that we have our saws set on. And of course, the miles of overgrown brush. Help us get that trail cleared and ready for footsteps this GivingTuesday!
